Clubs

The school has a vibrant Cultural Society that provides platform to students for displaying their creativity in the field of Music, Dramatics, Dance, Art and Craft, and Public Speaking. The school has a strong NCC unit, Eco-Club, Health Club and Philately Club to name a few.

Year 2020 - 2021

  • In the first week of January 2021, Eco Club initiated the activity `A Snap with a Sapling` to encourage students to plant saplings. The participants took a photograph while planting a sapling, captioned and sent it to the club. The participants were awarded E- Participation Certificate.
  • The Social Science Club of the school organised an Exhibition on Numismatics, Philately and Artefacts on 01 February, 2020. The Exhibition was highly informative.
  • To commemorate the Centenary Birth Anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the founder of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the Science Club of the school in coordination with Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota organised Space-on-Wheel programme. A bus with working and nonworking models of launch vehicles came to the school on 16 March, 2020. The bus had a miniature model of a space centre and students had a glimpse of India's space technology, achievements and capabilities.
  • National Mathematics Day was celebrated virtually by Math Club. Quiz, Origami and a Webinar on Mathematicians were organised for classes VI to IX from 18 to 23 December, 2020. ‘Number Art Competition’ was conducted virtually for classes I & II on 15 December, 2020. The best three were adjudged winners and E-Participation Certificates were awarded for all the participants.
  • Life vs Math Video Competition was organised virtually from 14 to 16 December, 2020 for Classes III - V. The students were elucidated about the day-to-day usage of Mathematics in life. ‘Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020’ was conducted virtually by Diksha on 25 November, 2020 for the students of classes VIII - X and all the participants were awarded E-Certificates.

Year 2019 - 2020

  • Handwriting Competition in English was conducted virtually for classes I to V on 23 & 24 December, 2020. The best three were adjudged winners and awarded E-Certificate of Appreciation.
  • English Literary Club gives students opportunities to develop their LSRW skills. Elocution, Word Tiles, Remember and Spell, Word Jumble Race, Match the Word with the Synonym and a Skit were conducted for students in the months of October and November, 2019.
  • To commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a ‘Food Mela’ was organised by the Health Club of the school on 17 November, 2019.
  • To commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a skit was enacted by Bharathi Tamil Club on 28 September, 2019.
