The Annual Day Celebration of our school was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The event was a memorable occasion that brought together students, teachers, alumni, and distinguished guests. The celebration began with an invocation song followed by the brief annual report by the Principal Shri.VEERAMURUGAN. G The function was graced by our Chief Guest, Shri .V. BHARGAVI SHANKAR, B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) a proud alumnus of our school and a respected Indian Air force Group Captain, who inspired everyone with his motivating words and life experiences. His presence was a great source of pride and inspiration for the students and staff. Smt. ARTI NAVALAN, Head of DAV Kala Kendram, Shri. ATUL NANGIA, Convenor of DAV BHEL Ranipet, and Shri. A. BABU, Head of HR at BHEL and a long – standing supporter, also graced the occa sionwith their esteemed presence. The laurel winners in curricular and co-curricular activities were honored with medals and certificates. The cultural programme showcased the incredible talents of our students through a series of vibrant performances. From classical dances and musical presentations to drama and modern acts, each item reflected the creativity, discipline, and hard work of the participants and their mentors. The performances were widely appreciated by the audience and created a joyful and festive atmosphere. The Annual Day concluded on a high note, leaving lasting memories for everyone present. It was a celebration of achievements, talent, and the spirit of unity that defines our school.


































































DAV BHEL School conducted the Varsharambh programme on 16.07.2025 with a special havan to mark the auspicious beginning of the academic year. The event was graced by Convenor Shri Atul Nangia from the DAV Group of Schools Head Office. The programme invoked divine blessings for a successful year ahead, fostering spiritual harmony among staff and students.






INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

On 15th August 2025, the Nursery section of DAV BHEL Ranipet celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The school campus was beautifully decorated with tricolor flags.
Our little stars came dressed as national leaders and confidently spoke a few lines portraying them. The sight of the nursery kids waving small flags and spreading joy captured our hearts.
The school’s Independence Day celebration was a one-of-a kind spectacle. The Principal gave an impassioned speech about a mysterious, top-secret “Operation Sindhoor,” which apparently involved peace and resilience. Meanwhile, the nursery teachers in what must have been the most adorable intel briefing ever explained the entire operation to the students through a poem and song. The whole event was a masterclass in igniting change and possibly a little bit of creativity.











The 44th Annual Sports Meet was grandly celebrated on 6th August 2025 in DAV BHEL School, Ranipet. The event was presided over by our Principal Shri. Veeramurugan G, Headmistress Ms. V Rathika with the special invitees Smt. R Kanjana (Head – DAV Krida Kendram Sports Academy), Smt. Poonam Anandh (Convenor – DAV Mogappair and SM Fomra School and College)
The event commenced with the lighting of the Olympic torch by the Guest of Honour Dr. S. Ganga Prasath (Assistant Professor Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai and Alumnus of the DAV BHEL School – 2008 batch), followed by a vibrant march-past performed by students representing various houses.
Dr. Ganga Prasad, in his address, emphasized the importance of sports in building physical strength, mental discipline, and team spirit. He encouraged students to actively participate in physical education and excel in both academics and extracurricular activities.
Various sports competitions and cultural programs were conducted, showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of the students. Winners were awarded medals, certificates, and trophies. The celebration reflected the unity and sportsmanship of the students.




























































AS part of the Prithvi Vandanam initiative, the students of Class V organised a series of activities on 6th September to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution. The programme aimed to educate and inspire their peers to reduce plastic usage and embrace sustainable practices.
On 26th September, as part of the Prithvi Vandanam initiative, the students of Class 5 participated in an engaging session on Water Conservation. The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of saving water and using it wisely for a sustainable future. Students viewed an informative PowerPoint presentation and a short video demonstrating simple yet effective ways to conserve water—such as turning off taps when not in use, collecting rainwater through rainwater harvesting, avoiding wastage of drinking water, using buckets instead of showers, and reusing water wherever possible. The session motivated children to practise mindful water usage both at home and in school. Through these activities, they learned about the scarcity and value of freshwater, understood the urgency of conservation, and pledged to become responsible ambassadors of nature.The program was a meaningful experience that linked classroom learning with real-life actions, nurturing environmental awareness and responsibility among young learners..










The Nursery Wing of our School, celebrated the festival of Onam on 4th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The celebration began with an eye-catching floral decoration (Pookalam) that beautifully showcased the essence of the festival.
The programme was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Shri.Veeramurugan G, Principal, and Smt. Rathika V, Headmistress. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of Onam as a harvest festival of Kerala.
Nursery children learned about King Mahabali and the importance of the festival. Teachers presented a graceful Kaikottukalli dance, adding charm to the celebration. Children, dressed in traditional half-white attire, happily shared snacks with their friends, fostering joy and togetherness.
The celebration not only brought festive cheer but also helped the children appreciate cultural values and traditions.









Friday, 26th September 2025, the campus was filled with colour, music, and festive spirit as the nursery department of our school celebrated Navaratri with a unique theme — “School.” The event beautifully blended cultural traditions with core educational values, creating a vibrant and meaningful celebration.
The programme began with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, led by Principal Shri. Veeramurugan G and Headmistress Smt. Rathika V, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness and the beginning of a spirited celebration.
Students participated enthusiastically in traditional Dandiya performances, dressed in colourful ethnic attire. They also sang melodious songs that reflected the essence of school life, highlighting values such as friendship, teamwork, discipline, respect, and the joy of learning. Through their performances, students expressed how school is not just a place for academics, but also a space for growth, connection, and celebration.
