The field trip was organized on 23rd August 2025, to help students observe real-world applications of their theoretical curriculum on sanitation and environmental science. Plant officials guided the group through different stages of sewage treatment—screening, grit removal, primary and secondary settling, aeration, and sludge handling. Also, hereby they appreciated the contribution of engineers, government agencies, and plant staff to sustainable resource management.
The trip deepened students’ understanding and appreciation of wastewater management and its real impact on the community. They noted that practical exposure reinforced their classroom studies and motivated them to contribute to environmental awareness and innovation.
