A career guidance session was organized on 8th August 2025 for the students of Classes XI and XII. The session featured Ms. G. Revathy Priya, a third-year MBBS student from Madha Medical College and Research Institute, Kovur, Chennai, as the resource person. The event aimed to provide aspiring medical students with valuable insights into medical education, preparation for entrance examinations, life as a medical student, and the various career opportunities available in the healthcare field. Ms. Revathy Priya shared her personal experiences of clearing medical entrance exams and adapting to the challenges of medical studies, offering students a realistic understanding of what to expect on their journey toward becoming doctors. Students actively participated and expressed that the session was highly informative and motivating. It gave them a clearer perspective on pursuing medicine as a career and inspired them to prepare diligently for their goals. The program successfully bridged the gap between aspirants and medical professionals, making it a valuable and enlightening experience for all.

Ganga Prasath, M.S. in Fluid Mechanics and Ph.D. in Physics, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering, IIT Madras. The session aimed to help students explore career options after school by leveraging the academic experience and expertise of faculty from one of India’s premier engineering institutes. Dr. Ganga Prasath provided valuable insights into academic opportunities, current research trends, and both traditional and emerging career paths in science, technology, and engineering. Students actively participated and reported an increased awareness of career possibilities, along with greater confidence in making informed educational decisions. The session also facilitated better communication between teachers and students, allowing both groups to understand academic, technical, and professional opportunities more clearly. The personalized guidance and practical advice offered by Dr. Ganga Prasath were highly appreciated for providing actionable steps toward career advancement. Overall, the session proved to be highly informative and inspiring for all participants.
